what muscles does tossing a medicine ball workout/tone?
if i'm tossing the ball to someone and then catching it and tossing it back? i know that there are a few different ways to toss it to work different muscles but i just want to know in general what muscles i can expect a medicine ball to tone and workout. Have you ever worked out with a medicine ball? how did it work for you? any information you can give me on past experiences and tips would be appreciated! thanks!
i just asked this a while ago but got like 1 answer - seriously it seems like to get any answers you have to ask some crazy question! i look at other questions that were asked around the same time as mine and they have tons of answers!
Well, let's think about it. When tossing, you'll be using your forearms, your triceps, your chest and shoulders. You'll also use some core(Stomach,lower back) to keep you from losing your balance. You may even use some quads and calves, depending on your throwing motion. Catching should be similar, but using the negative on muscles like the triceps as they slow the incoming ball.
I think they are great and can be lots of fun.
